Art Gallery Bundle - Thank You Cards

Hello, welcome and thanks for popping in!

Boy, there's nothing like a batch of 'Thank You' cards to remind you how quick the year is going.  The cards I have today, are for my November customers.  If you have made a purchase from me last month, you can expect one of these together with a small gift.  I love spoiling my customers.

My cards feature the Art Gallery Bundle which is available to purchase in the upcoming January - June 2021 Mini Catalogue. I really love with this set.  The stamp set and co-ordinating dies have many options for various occasions.  It's a great all-rounder!  I have also used Bruno Bertucci's Scrappy Strip Technque for this card and used the same colours as my last colour challenge over at Colour INKspiration Challenge on Facebook. But my real inspriation came from this card by the ever so lovely Lou Kitzelman from With A Bow On Top.

Supplies Needed:
  • Art Gallery Bundle
  • Cardstock: Whisper White Thick (card base), Whisper White Regular,  Blushing Bride, Coastal Cabana, Pool Party, Pretty Peacock, So Saffron
  • Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper
  • Inks: Blushing Bride, So Saffron, Pretty Peacock
  • Gilded Gems
  • Paper Trimmer
  • Cut & Emboss Machine
  • Adhesives: Tombow Liquid Glue, Dimensionals
All products are available here in my online store or alternatively you can get there by clicking on the tab above or on the link under each product thumbnail further down.

To begin, I trimmed a piece of regular Whisper White cardstock to 3 1/2" x 5" - I will use this piece to glue my scrappy strips on. I then went into my 'scrap box' and took out the colours I needed and cut these into strips.  You will need cardstock at least 4" wide.  There's no rhyme or reason to how you cut your strips - that's the beauty of it. When you have enough strips, glue them down with your adhesive of choice and once dry, trim all the edges back to the piece of cardstock underneath.

Adhere this piece to a second piece of co-ordinating cardstock. Mine measures 1/8" larger on two sides which gave me a 1/16" border on all sides. I then went and glued this onto my card base.

To complete the front of my card, I stamped two of the larger flowers, one in Blushing Bride and the second in So Saffron and die cut these with the co-ordinating die.  I stamped the 'thank you' in Pretty Peacock ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock measuring 4" x 1/2".
I arranged my pieces and together with a sprig from the Forever Gold Laser-Cut Specialty Paper. And just to fancy it up even more, I added some Gilded Gems.

I hope I have inspired you to try something new and thank you so much taking the time to drop in.  If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below.

Take care, stay safe and have a great day!
