Introducing the 2025 - 2027 In Colours feat. Gallery Blooms - Colour INKspiration Challenge #187

Hello and welcome!

Today I have a card which I created for Colour INKSpiration Challenge #187 over on Facebook.  Please do head over there and, if you aren't already a member you are most welcome to join the Group, and check out what the amazing Crew have created.   Our inspiration photo for this Challenge was once again chosen by the Team as a whole and our Guest Designer joining us is amazing Sarine Zijderveld who is actually on the Artisan Design Team.

For this Challenge, we have been asked to use at least one of the new 2025 - 2027 In Colours.   I'm loving these new colours and I can see myself using them a lot.  As a group they work really well together.

My card features the new Gallery Blooms Bundle which I've teamed with the Tags To Go dies and Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder.   The images were stamped in Secret Sea ink then heat embossed in Clear as I wanted to water colour them.  The clear embossing powder seals the ink underneath - without doing this, the Secret Sea ink will reactivate with the water colouring.

I coloured two images and trimmed the leaves off one end of the first one - save these and we will use them later. Flower centres are done with Darling Duckling, flowers themselves with Strawberry Slush and the leaves the Cloud Cover.  I used the Stampin' Write Markers to apply colour to a block (you can use any non-porous surface) and applied the colour with a Blender Pen.

The Bundle does come with dies to cut this image but I just fussy cut them.

For the card front, I trimmed a piece of Basic White card stock to have a 1/8" border on all four sides and diagonally cut this.  Honestly I didn't measure but it's approx 2" from the top left corner to about 2 1/2" from the bottom right corner but remember your angle will be a little different if you use Letter Size cards.

The bottom section was run through the embossing machine to create a vertical pattern. The top section may need to be trimmed as the embossing will 'shrink' the bottom piece. Both the top and bottom pieces were glued onto a piece of recycled greybeard that comes in the packs of specialty papers only because I wanted subtle dimension.  You can use regular Dimensionals or the Foam Adhesive if that's your style.

This was glued onto the card front with the coloured images attached with Dimensionals along the cut line.  The leaves which were trimmed can be glued underneath for extra dimension.

A small tag was die cut from the Tags To Go Dies with three hearts also from the same set and glued directly to the card front with a double bow in Linen Thread.  To finish off, Iridescent Pearls were added and a touch of Wink Of Stella brushed over each flower.

For the inside, I coloured another flower and fussy cut and glued this in the bottom left corner.
