Monogramme and Card featuring Beautiful Friendship and Framed for You Stamp Sets

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by!

Birthdays are plenty this month, nearly every second day and there are a couple that are extra special to me.  For these, I created a stamped monogramme to go along with their hand made card.

I started by printing out the outline of their initial in New Times Roman font in the largest size to fit my A4 paper - for me this was 700.  I then went and traced this onto a sheet of A4 Whisper

White card stock using a method that can be erased once finished.   Picking out stamps to fit, I stamped my images inside the traced outline, starting with the largest images and filling in with the smaller ones. When I knew my monogram was well and truly dry, I went and erased the outline. I trimmed down my A4 sheet to fit in a frame.

It really doesn't take a lot of effort but the results are amazing!

I went and created a birthday card using the same stamps and ink colours, stamping both a card front and a corner of the card insert.

Supplies:

  • Card stock: Soft Sea Foam card base, Misty Moonlight matte layer, Whisper White for stamping and card insert.
  • Stamp Sets: Beautiful Friendship, Framed for You, Forever Fern (dot stamp)
  •  Inks: Rococo Rose, Crumb Cake, Misty Moonlight, Soft Sea Foam

Other items:

  • Frame or Shadow Box suitable for stamped monogramme
