Hello my lovely friends! Welcome and thanks for popping in!
I'm sharing a card today that was created for the SU! Colour Challenge over on Facebook. We have a very cheerful colour palette to work with that includes a retiring In Colour as well as a returning colour.
Strips of card stock in the challenge colours were embossed with the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder and glued to a Basic White card base. Two tags were die-cut - one in paper from the Enjoy The Journey paper pack and a second in Soft Succulent cardstock to add stability. These were glued together and a bow using Soft Succulent ribbon and Linen Thread added.
I had an idea of creating a dark adhesive foam sheets using the Black Dimensionals as I didn't want the regular white Foam Adhesive Sheet showing under my dark cardstock and I'm so glad my idea worked. I cut a sheet down the centre and removed all the tops and applied a piece of Early Espresso cardstock. The letters were then die-cut from this using the Alphabet A La Mode Dies just like you would use a regular foam adhesive sheet.
The letters were attached to the tag which was then attached to the card front using Dimensionals.
Thank you so much taking the time to drop in. I hope I have inspired you and if you like what I have shown or if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
Until next time, take care, stay safe and have a great day!
