snowflake card

Hi everyone and I hope you are all well.

Last weekend I held my classes for September and for something a little different, we made these fabulous Snowflake Cards.  My attendees had the choice of Christmas or non-Christmas and they also had a choice on how to decorate the inside to a point. I CASED this project from UK Demonstrator, Angelina at Intatwyne Designs. Her version is here

For my project I used Basic Black and Whisper White and a little bit of Vellum card stock, Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper (DSP), Under My Umbrella Stamp Set and co-ordinating Umbrella Builder punch.  All stamping was done in Momento Tuxedo Black then images coloured in Dark and Light Basic Gray, Dark and Light Poppy Parade and Dark and Light Old Olive Stampin' Blends alcohol markers.  I kept to this colour scheme throughout the whole card. The ribbon I used is the Faux Linen Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

Once all the pieces of card stock and DSP were cut, I was really surprised at how quickly it all came together.

When the card is opened, it very much looks like a snowflake, hence the name.

Measurements for this are as follows (I apologise as these are only in imperial measurements as I prefer to craft in inches):
