Because You're Awesome! - Colour INKspiration Challenge #149

Welcome to Colour INKspiration Challenge #149.  The colours for this challenge was inspired by a photo chosen by fellow Crew member, Lou Kitzelman and our Guest Designer is the lovely Ingrid Heijen-Hermens. You can go and check out her Website HERE. I can't to see what everyone has created.

The colours are quite soft this time around and I've made them even softer by using the Blending Brushes with the inks. I grabbed the Foursquare Masks and did some ombre colouring down one edge of my cardstock which was then matted onto a piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock and adhered to a Basic White cardbase.  More ink was blended onto some scraps of Basic  White cardstock which was then die-cut using the hearts from Radiating Stitches Dies.  

A piece of Basic White cardstock was die-cut using the second-to-largest rectangle using the same dies and the sentiment was stamped using Fresh Freesia ink and comes from the Circle Sayings Stamp Set.  This was attached to the card front with Dimensionals.  

The hearts were also attached with Dimensionals and to complete the card front, add some of the pinkish sequins from Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio.

I just love the overall softness I was able to achieve with all the ink blending.

Just a reminder to use all the Challenge colours. If you don’t have the colours in our palette, feel free to use the closest Stampin’ Up! substitute -  Highland Heather instead of Fresh Freesia for example. We also allow Ivory, Bronze and Natural Tones in the Stampin' Blends and Neutrals such as Basic White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Basic Black and Metallics.
